Knowledge Science Research Lab Inaugural Talk and Ceremony

STML received a working visit of the Dean of School of Knowledge Science Prof. Dr Yukari Nagai from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Ishikawa, Japan (JAIST), a national post-graduate and research university, on 21-22 March 2016. She was the first guest/inaugural speaker of the Knowledge Science Talk Series which was delivered on “Knowledge Science: Innovation Design for Human Life” at the seminar hall of STML on 21 March, which was attended by academic staffs from STML and other schools/institutes.

Workshop at STML led by internationally renowned scholar

On March 01, 2016 STML has arranged a workshop which is conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kunio Shirahada and assisted by Dr. H.M.Belal (faculty of STML-COB, UUM). Kunio Shirahada is a faculty member of Knowledge Science, JAIST, Japan. He is skilled, energetic, and internationally recognized academic.
The Workshop title was ‘Research Road Mapping for Writing Grant Proposal’.

MoU Signing between UUM and JAIST

School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML) received a working visit from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Ishikawa, Japan (JAIST), a national post-graduate and research university, on 2 February 2016. The delegation of four was led by the President of JAIST, Professor Dr. Tetsuo Asano.

The aim of this working visit was to sign the MoU between UUM and JAIST. This MoU signing ceremony was held at Dewan Sri Mersawa, EDC attended by UUM Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dato Seri Dr Mohamed Mustafa Ishak, STML Dean Assoc. Prof. Shahimi Mohtar, JAIST President Prof. Dr Tetsuo Asano, Advisor to the JAIST President for Global Affairs Professor Dr Shungo Kawanishi and two administrative officers from JAIST among other local staffs.
